HISTORY

Transports Escapa was created in 1915, in the city of Olot. The company was founded by Mateu Escapa, as a messenger service in order to connect the growing town with Barcelona. In its early days the company transported goods by horse and cart in Olot and on foot or by bicycle in Barcelona. The main part of the journey was made using the train that once linked the two cities.

As a result of the efforts and sacrifices of numerous people, today, one hundred years after the launch of this business venture, the family, in its fourth generation is still at the head of the company.

The company is currently formed by a team of over twenty employees, who offer a personalised, detailed service to all our clients.
